Welcome to Sir Robert Hitcham CEVAP School, Debenham

Sir Robert Hitcham CEVA Primary School is currently open for Critical Worker pupils only.  For pupils working as home, you will find the work under the 'Work for Pupils' tab.

Government Announcement 04-01-2021

Further to the Government's decision that all schools must now close, Sir Robert Hitcham CEVA Primary School cannot open tomorrow.  We will not be open for ANY pupils tomorrow (5-1-2021) to allow us to establish who is eligible for the key worker and vulnerable pupil provision.  Please DO NOT send your child(ren) in tomorrow.  There will be further communication with you during the day tomorrow.  We apologise for the late notice of this significant change.

Miss L Newark, Headteacher

Happy New Year

A Happy New Year from everyone at Sir Robert Hitcham Primary School.

We begin 2021 with a significant amount of uncertainty and I understand that this may be causing concern over a return to school.  Pupils are expected to be back in school on Tuesday 5th January.  However, if your family circumstances mean that you feel it is too great a risk for your child(ren) to attend school currently, we, at Sir Robert Hitcham, will respect and support this decision.  Please inform the school office that you intend to keep your child(ren) off and your reason for doing this.  As long as we have this communication from you, there will be no risk of a fine for non-attendance.  I will review this in two-weeks' time.

Communication, with further details, will be sent to parents/carers before the end of the day on Monday 4th January.

Miss Laura Newark, Headteacher
