Headteacher's News

 Autumn Term

A huge welcome back to all our pupils at Sir Robert Hitcham and an even bigger welcome to pupils and parents/carers who join our Sir Robert Hitcham community this September.

School begins for pupils on Wednesday 4th September.  School opens at 8:45am and the doors close at 9am.  Pupils should be in their classroom no later than 9am to avoid missing any learning time.

What have we got to look forward to this term?

We have a 'Fearfully and Wonderfully Made' (Psalm 139) Day planned in which we will celebrates black history.  We will explore and celebrate the wonderful contributions black people have made to British society.  We will learn about respecting all cultures and communities.

As part of our Vision Day in October, we will not just be learning about our vision and the stories which inspire us to be more like Jesus but will be actually demonstrating our school values of Community, Respect and Compassion by litter picking in the village, tidying the local environment and raising money for local charities.

While the weather remains nice, we will be holding our daily collective worship outside so that we can connect with nature while we reflect on the messages shared during our worship.
