Last week we looked at the story 'Where The Wild Things Are'

This week you are going to write your own story based on this book. Use the the story mapping template to add details to create a new story. For example, the main character in the original story was Max so what will the main character in your story be called? He travelled to an island on a boat and there were monsters. How and where will your character travel to and what creatures will he find there? Dragons, dinosaurs, giant insects? Use your imagination! You are just mapping out the ideas today. Finally, think of a title for your story.

Choose at least 5 words  from the list and write sentences to include these words remembering to use a capital letter to start a  sentence, a full stop to end it and neat joined up handwriting.
