 Sir Robert Hitcham Litter Pickers

As part of our new Eco-School initiative Mrs Kindred is busy organising 'Sir Robert Hitcham Litter Pickers'.

The hope is that families will be able to come and borrow litter picking equipment from the school and make a difference by cleaning up the local environment.  

Mrs Kindred is working with Joy Walton from the Parish Council to make this happen as quickly as possible. 

 Why is Litter Picking Important? 

Not only is litter unsightly, it also poses danger to animals that may ingest it. Any litter removed from a natural ecosystem helps wildlife and creates a better space for humans too! Studies show that people who live in clean areas, with lots of green spaces, have much better mental and physical health than people who live in areas with a litter problem. Hopefully you and your family will come and be part of the change with Sir Robert Hitcham Litter Pickers! We will keep you posted on our progress.
