School Sports Day - 18 June 2025

Our annual Sports Day will take place on Wednesday 18 June from 1.00pm to 3.15pm on the school field.  Spectators are welcome to arrive from 12:45 (races begin at 1.00pm). Please note that there will be no entry after 1:15pm as the gates will be closed to ensure the safety of everyone on site.

Sports Day is a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to showcase their sporting skills, enjoy some friendly competition and, most importantly, have fun and celebrate teamwork. The children have been practising their athletics skills this term and are very excited to share the day with you.

We would love for as many family members as possible to come along and support the children. There will be a variety of races throughout the afternoon and all children will have the chance to take part. Please ensure your child wears their PE kit, suitable footwear and brings a water bottle, hat and sun cream if the weather is warm. 

The children will spend the morning taking part in a variety of field events, competing in teams.  There will be a final team race at the end of the afternoon before the winning team is announced. 

We may also have an opportunity for parents to take part - for those who are feeling competitive - so come prepared! (This will be dependent on time!) 

There is very limited shade provided for spectators. We encourage you to bring hats, sunglasses, sun cream and plenty of water.

On arrival, please head to the side of the track – closest to the school.  The children will sit on the inside of the track.  We ask that you do not cross the track and that children remain with their class throughout the afternoon. 

If the weather is poor on the day, we will contact you as early as possible.  Our reserve Sports Day is Wednesday 25 June.
