Applications for Nursery for September 2026

Was your child born between 1 September 200 and 31 August 2023?

If so, he/she is eligible to join the Nursery at Sir Robert Hitcham CEVAP School, Debenham from September 2026

The Nursery runs every day during term time from 8.45am to 3.10pm and you can apply for as many, or as few, sessions as suits you and your child.  As a registered provider, we offer the Early Years funding in a flexible way and the core offer for universal 570 hours entitlement during term time is:

  • Morning sessions of 9.00am to 12.00pm;
  • Afternoon sessions of 12.00pm to 3.00pm, which includes lunchtime; and
  • All day sessions of 9.00am to 3.00pm, which includes lunchtime.

Families that have an 11-digit code because they are working and eligible for the extended entitlement, can have up to 1140 hours stretched across a year. This equates to 30 hours a week over 38 weeks of the year (term time).  

Parents/carers may also purchase additional sessions, subject to availability.  The current charge for each three hour session is £16.20 – this cost is currently under review for September 2026.

We are very proud of our Nursery, which is led by experienced qualified teachers.  The Nursery benefits from a large, well equipped Early Years outdoor area, in addition to the school’s playground, extensive field and Forest School area.
