Harvest Festival 2020

Sadly, this year, we were not able to celebrate our Harvest Festival in the Church or bring in items of food to donate to local food banks.  But we did not let this stop us from thanking God for the food we eat and showing our thankfulness for the farmers who grow the crops and harvest them.

On Wednesday 14th October, we gathered as a school on our field - in our separate zones in order to social distance - and held a special Harvest Festival Service.  Reverend Susan Bates and Reverend Tracey James led the service which was all about sharing our thanks and offering our prayers.  While we are thankful for the rain as it allows the crops to grow, we would have preferred the torrential downpour to have been delayed until after our service had finished!  We are very grateful to Susan and Tracey who gave up their time to be with us.

Each class created their own videos which you will find below.
